Our Commitment to Accessibility
Accessibility is part of our commitment to serving all users with respect and care. We believe the internet should be usable by everyone. Therefore we are committed to making our website accessible to people of all abilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, keyboard navigation and/or alternative input devices. Accessibility is not a one-time project for us, but an ongoing practice woven into how we design, build and update our digital experiences.
Accessibility Standards We Follow
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is the internationally recognized standard for digital accessibility. These guidelines help ensure all content is perceivable (easy to see and hear), operable (easy to navigate), understandable (clear and readable), and robust (compatible with current assistive technologies). We regularly review our site against these standards and work to address any issues we find.
Known Accessibility Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the site are still being developed and improved. We are actively working to resolve these issues and prioritize fixes that have the greatest impact on all users. Known limitations may include:
1. Some older PDF's documents may not be fully accessible (e.g. missing tags or proper reading order).
2. A small number of legacy images may not yet have descriptive alternative text.
3. Certain third-party tools or embedded content may not fully meet accessibility standards.
Ongoing Improvements
We continue to improve accessibility by:
1. Testing this website often against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA standards for digital accessibility.
2. Testing with assistive technologies.
3. Reviewing new content before publication.
4. Updating older content whenever feasible.
How We Handle Feedback
We review all accessibility feedback carefully and take it seriously as an opportunity to improve our digital experiences for everyone by:
1. Acknowledging accessibility feedback within 2 business days.
2. Aiming to provide a meaningful response and/or solution within 5 business days, depending of the complexity of the issue.
3. Communicating our plans for next steps and their expected timelines (if a solution should require more that 5 business days).
